Patient testimonial from Bangladesh
Dear. Dr. Gautam,
i would like to thank you and your team for everything, you all have done for my father. it has been an experience of life time for me. being a physician, I know how difficult it is to bring such a new technology of robotic surgery and encourage people to realise its efficiency. but you have done it and bright results are coming.
when my father was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of prostate, i knocked at every possible door of treatment modules in India. starting from mumbai up to bangalore. recommendations came from every corner and finally I decided to go with you. malignancy of prostate with history of angioplasty(4 stents) and DM at the age of 71, my father needed to be taken care by safe hands. while sending him to the OT, i knew, you will take good care of him and my father will be fine.
today, after a month of robotic radical prostatectomy of my father, I believe, that was the best decision i took for my father. you have been extra ordinarily supportive and all your efforts came up with bright colours. he is now recovering well and back to his normal life.
being an international patient, many things were in my concern list. you solved my every confusion. i am completely speechless with your excellent piece of surgical work and my father experienced the most convenient treatment he could ever get for his cancer.
from taking care of his cardiac history up to his recovery steps, you made it possible for us to bring him back home in Bangladesh with a smile.I am grateful from the core of my heart to you and your team for all the arrangements.I wish you all the very best for coming days. I see you becoming the legendary name in the field of robotic surgery in india in near future. good luck and best wishes Dr.

Our constant effort is to promote and develop innovative application of Robotic technology to ensure highest quality care. At the same time we aim to excel in the field of education and training to develop the next generation of robotic and urologic cancer surgeons. The association with Vattikuti Foundation, USA has provided a global collaborative research platform for sharing the knowledge base and further enhancement of medical robotics.
I joined the University of Chicago Medical Center (“UCMC”) in July 2009 for a two-year clinical fellowship in Minimally Invasive Urologic Oncology (Urologic Cancer Surgery & Robotic Surgery). UCMC is one of the world’s leading institutions in robotic surgery for bladder, kidney and prostate cancer and imparts comprehensive fellowship training in this modality. I have gained extensive experience in all aspects of management of urological malignancies with high volume surgical experience on the da Vinci Si robotic system. Besides conventional laparoscopic and open cancer surgery, I have specifically gained high volume experience in robotic partial nephrectomy, robotic radical cystectomy and robotic radical prostatectomy. Academically, I have contributed to top urological journals both as an author and a reviewer and have published 3 book chapters on urological robotic surgery during the course of my fellowship.
Gained experience in minimally invasive and robotic surgery for urologic cancers and other urologic procedures.
